Lauren and Jonathan’s love story began with a heart on Hinge in September 2024. The messages were great — despite Lauren sending hers at the end of the night and leaving Jonathan hanging the entire day.
Their first date was at Harriet Brasserie in Linden Hills. A date that was supposed to last only a couple of hours lasted five. They went through three waiters, and by the fourth hour realized they really needed to leave. They wandered around the lake talking about dream homes and what an imaginary life together might look like — little did they know they would end up living together.
Before Lauren even got home, Jonathan had already made a Spotify playlist asking her out on a second date.
Over the next few years, they traveled to Spain and France, went on mini adventures, grew close with each other’s families, and moved in together — still imagining the dream house they hope to create.
In June 2026, Jonathan proposed to Lauren in their backyard with their dog, Hank, and surprised her with a small engagement party with family and friends.
